About Me

I'm a graphic designer and design educator with over 20 years of experience. Before starting my own design studio, I worked professionally in the publishing industry and at design firms in Cincinnati and Chicago where our clients included American Girl, Bath & Body Works, Target, Simon and Schuster and McGraw-Hill. My work has been featured in Print and Step-By-Step Graphics magazines, and included in shows by the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), the Chicago Book Clinic, and the Art Directors Club of Cincinnati.

In addition to my professional practice, I'm a Senior Lecturer in the School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University. I serve as area coordinator of the graphic design program, Co-Director of the ServeDesign Center, and I teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in typography, production, professional practice, and design for social impact.

When I'm not working, you can find me trying to keep up with my two kids, cooking & baking, studying the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and trying to make my friends & family laugh.
